For the third consecutive season Ardeer were annihilated at Meadow Park. Meadow, perhaps stung by the close call Saltcoats Vics gave them in midweek, were relentless in their pursuit of a heavy victory and scored six goals in the first half and five in the second half. Goalscorers for the away side were Jaconelli (3), Friels (2), Turner (2), McGeown, McCann, Milliken and McVeigh. Ardeer were very easily beaten but their chances in the game were as follows:

At 0-0, the Meadow goalkeeper tried to take the ball round Lee Munro and was dispossessed, but Lee couldnt quite manage to get the ball to the goal. On 69 minutes, Scott Reid hit a powerful effort at goal but it was right at the goalkeeper, as was Lee Munro's rebound. The same players combined again on the 85th minute when Munro got on the end of Reids low cross but his shot was saved well.
