Please visit www.thejuniors.info and sign up to twitter and join in what is set to become one of the largest Junior web sites ever.

Our aim is to provide 'live' match updates using Twitter from mobile phones so that fans at any ground in the country can see live scores. Your announcer will be able to shout out half time and full time results from around the leagues and cups.

You can use the service to advertise players who are transfer listed, announce news to the fans and of course see how teams in your league are fairing.

Please join us and help promote the junior game.

Any questions please feel free to email me at admin@thejuniors.info

Not been down to watch ardeer play for a while as i play for the rovers on a sat, but ive heard they are playing alot better, all we need is some luck. I think given time dougie mcguire will bring the same magic to ardeer as he did when he played for chris strain. But only if everybody supports the team, its easy to be critical and blame others but hopefully with a good pre-season and some expierence added to the squad there can be improvements. aw the best lads.
P.s keep pistol pete mcblain af the pies!!!! lol

How's the weather in Stevenston? Is there a lot of snow lying about? Any chance of the game being on tomorrow?

All,

I am not sure if anyone had known but after reading the herald I noticed that Jim Boyd Snr has passed away. As many of you will know Jim was an ex Ardeer player and was a regular at games as far back as the early 90's, he was also the brother in law of ex Ardeer manager John Evans. Jim was up until a year ago the Vice Chairman of the club.

I often seen Jim sitting in his car watching Ardeer on a saturday afternoon and was truly privilaged to have had many a discussion with an utter gentleman and all round football man.

I wish to pass on my condolences to Jim's family and I am saddened that Ardeer has lost 2 of it's biggest supporters on the same day!!!

Both Jim & Robert will be sadly missed.

I must say not being an Ardeer supporter i have however attended some games aswell as function they have orgainsed and I have yet to see the crowd in the stand who stand drink their buckie and wotever else they take attend any of the functions I have been at.. I think the women do a great job at ardeer... and ardeer aren't the only club who have women on their committee I know Irvine Vics, Kilwinning Rangers, Troon and Bellshill all have women on their committee's who work hard for their club and hold key roles in their respective clubs

I would like to pass on my condolences to Robert Grayston's family and friends. He was a well loved member, and a fantastic treasurer of the Threetowners community (website above) and he will be sorely missed.

Hi Ardeer committee and fans.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Robert Grayston's family.
Robert was a stalwart and when I played for and managed Ardeer he always had a positive ambition for Ardeer.
The club will miss him as will the website as he always said it as it was.
God Bless you Robert a true Ardeer Fan.
Peter
